Create a hilarious big mouth valentines box
My kids always make their own valentines boxes for school. It’s super fun and they really enjoy having fun with it. This year, my youngest wanted to make a big mouth valentines box. We made it and it turned out super hilarious. We were getting a lot of comments on it on social media. When my oldest son saw his box, he changed his mind from having a dirt bike helmet box to this box instead. I wanted to share the love so you too can create a hilarious big mouth valentines box too!
Yes, I know it’s the day after valentines and this post is kind of irrelevant for timing. I had this on my schedule two weeks ago, and then my son got sick. And then I got sick. And then my husband and another son got sick. Life happens and when you’re a mom, you roll with the punches. So if anything, this post may help someone for Valentines 2021!
This video is of my oldest son and I showing you how to create a hilarious big mouth valentines box. We start with showing you how to do the photoshop work of creating the big mouth. It’s super easy to do! Then we print it, put it on a box, and carve out the mouth. For our boxes, we wrapped the edges in vinyl and then added “feed me” to the sides.
For this project you will need:
- Adobe Photoshop
- A printer
- A Box
- An Exacto Knife
- Tape or Glue
- Vinyl (to wrap the edges or to make a ‘feed me’ decal on the sides – in which case you’ll need a vinyl cutter too!)
My kids loved their hilarious big mouth valentine boxes and got a lot of comments on them at school! It will definitely be a valentines they’ll remember! Happy Belated Valentines and Happy Creating!
